What is the EURIPID collaboration?
EURIPID is a voluntary non-profit collaboration of the European Pricing and Reimbursement authorities for the mutual sharing of pricing information of medicinal products.
Who can become a partner of EURIPID?
Every EU/EEA/EFTA country can become a partner of the EURIPID collaboration. Non-EU/EEA/EFTA countries and supranational organizations can contact the EURIPID collaboration via email: email@example.com.
What is the difference between a partner and an associated partner?
Partners have full access to the EURIPID database. Associated partners are national authorities and institutuions of countries, endowed by national legislation for competencee in pricing and reimbursement of medicines who take part in the EURIPID collaboration but have no voting right in the Board of Participants. Both partners have to pay a yearly subscription fee.
Who has access to the database?
All partners can access the database and perform real-time queries 24 hours. Associated partners have limited access to the database.
How does data delivery work?
Partners deliver the data of their country to one of the founding members of the collaboration. The founding member standardises the delivered data and feeds it into the database.
Who can access the data of the database?
Besides partners of the collaboration, researchers can apply for data of the EURIPID database via sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and taking the terms and conditions of use of the website and the collaboration into account.
How up to date is the database?
The partners provice the founders with data regularly. The updates need to be in line with the national update frequency. The price build up or relevant factors for interpretation of price information is provided whenever necessary.
